Set access to company data

You can define what company data the user has access to. For example, this may be useful if your company has several divisions that operate their own data (locations, sites, users, and so on). Or you might need to restrict data access based on the employee's position. To set the data access:

  1. Go to the module page and open the item settings (for example, Define > Locations > <Location>). Specify the group (for example, "Location group: South Division").

  2. Go to the manager's user profile (Define > Users > <User>) and specify what groups they can access in the User/Location/Service/Site group(s) fields.

Now, the user has access only to the groups specified in the user profile.
